Health Sherpa replaces Blue Solutions tool

Good news! Now you have a new and better tool that lets you directly enroll your Exchange clients through Blueprint for Agents.

Health Sherpa now has been added to the site for all agents appointed to sell Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield’s under-65 products. This tool gives you the same ability as a Federally Facilitated Marketplace (FFM) representative to perform Enhanced Direct Enrollment (EDE).

For a brief period, Blue Solutions (the current tool) also will be active, but in mid-June Health Sherpa will replace the Blue Solutions tool permanently.

This new pathway should significantly reduce the amount of time it takes to complete an on-Exchange enrollment, which could give you the opportunity to submit significantly more enrollments during open enrollment!

Off-Exchange, limited-duration, dental and vision applications will continue to be submitted through their established enrollment tools on Blueprint for Agents.

  • Check the real-time status of applications on Healthcare.gov
  • Identify required follow-ups
  • Make the first payment
  • Upload documents
  • Report life changes
  • Renew plans (with pre-filled applications)
  • Download eligibility results and Form 1095-A tax documentation.

Getting started with Health Sherpa

Just look for a new Health Sherpa link under (Quick Links). The link will take you directly to the Health Sherpa site

Once you are in the site, you will need to enable EDE. The site will ask you verify your identity by asking you a series of identity questions.

After this step is complete, you can enjoy the benefits of EDE!
