Kelly Ellerbee promoted to director of Financial Operations, Revenue and Systems at Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (June 29, 2017) – Kelly Ellerbee was recently promoted to director
of Financial Operations, Revenue and Systems at Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield.
In his new position, Ellerbee is responsible for day-to-day oversight of applications
used by the Financial Service division, banking operations, as well as accurate billing,
collection and booking for non-risk business.
Prior to joining Arkansas Blue Cross, Ellerbee spent six years in back office accounting
systems in the retail industry. He joined Arkansas Blue Cross in April 1990 as an
accountant and has held many financial analyst roles, including serving as manager of
Systems and Non-Risk Billings before his recent promotion.
Ellerbee earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting at the University of Central
Arkansas where he was invited to join the Alpha Chi Honor Society. He is a member of
the Insurance and Accounting Systems Association.
