Devin Shirley promoted to chief information security officer for Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (October 5, 2017) – Devin Shirley has been promoted to chief
information security officer for Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Shirley joined
Arkansas Blue Cross in January 2016 as manager for the Business Solutions Center
and in October 2016 became director of Information Security.
Shirley has an extensive background, with a career as an officer in the U.S. Army,
supporting and directing telecommunications and IT assets for a variety of units.
He also served in the civilian sector as a manager of IT. He has a bachelor’s degree
in mechanical engineering from West Point and a master’s in telecommunications
management from Oklahoma State University.
He lives in Sherwood with his wife, Amy, and their four children Ema, Talyn, Prestyn
