Bagley hired as Benefits & Compensation manager by Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield
Little Rock, Ark. (May 15, 2018) — Karen Bagley of Clinton has been hired by Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield as Benefits & Compensation manager.
In her new role, Bagley is responsible for developing and maintaining employee pay and benefits programs to ensure that Arkansas Blue Cross' compensation packages are competitive and offer benefits that are valued. She works with other teams to provide employees a career path to advance their knowledge, skills, abilities and responsibilities.
Bagley earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Business Administration from Baylor University at Waco, Texas. She has worked as a human resources manager, employee relations manager, compensation & benefits manager and compensation analyst.
Before joining Arkansas Blue Cross, Bagley worked at Metso Minerals, a global engineering services provider. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Central Arkansas Human Resource Association (CAHRA). She is a certified benefits professional and certified compensation professional through World at Work.
Bagley has helped equip others in the community through teaching CPR/AED and first-aid classes through her local volunteer fire department, the Van Buren County Library System, the Boy Scouts of America and at churches. She and her husband, Danny, have twin 18-year-old sons, Clint and Cody, who plan to attend Arkansas Tech University at Russellville this fall.
