ACA shopping log-in changes

Beginning on Monday, April 4, the way you’ll access the shopping pages for ACA medical plans in Blueprint for Agents will change. After clicking the “Shopping” button and then the “Medical Plans Shopping and Enrollment” link, you’ll be directed to a landing page listing instructions on how to access HealthSherpa’s shopping site. This new log-in step has been added to satisfy more stringent CMS auditing compliance standards.

To complete the new sign-in steps, you’ll need to know the email address associated with your Blueprint for Agents account. To find your email address, click the “Administrative Services” box on the homepage, and then click the “Update my account” link on the next page. You’ll see your email address in the Current Information section.

Here’s what you’ll need to do:

  1. Click the “Go to HealthSherpa” button on the landing page and you’ll be taken to HealthSherpa’s sign-in page.
  2. FIRST TIME ONLY: Create your new HealthSherpa log-in credentials by clicking the “Forgot your password?” link.
  3. Enter the email address associated with your Blueprint for Agents account and add “+abcbs” before the @ symbol (e.g. john.doe+abcbs@acme.com) and click the “Reset Password” button. HealthSherpa will send you an email with a password reset link.
  4. Click the password reset link in the HealthSherpa email and reset your password.

After creating your new log-in credentials, each time you log into the HealthSherpa shopping pages, you’ll use your email address with the “+abcbs” before the @ symbol (e.g. john.doe+abcbs@acme.com) and your new password to access the ACA medical plan shopping pages.

These instructions will be listed on a log-in landing page, so you’ll be reminded of the new sign-in step each time you help your clients shop for ACA products.
