Update: Individual ACA Products – BlueCard

We’ve made the decision to keep BlueCard on our individual ACA plans that currently feature the benefit. This is a change from what you initially saw in the online training materials released on Pinpoint at the end of August. The Arkansas Insurance Department approved the change on Friday, September 30. Please see the lists below to find the plans featuring BlueCard, and the plans that will not have the BlueCard benefit, for plan year 2023.

Plans with BlueCard in 2023:

  • Gold Plan HSA1
  • Silver Plan 1
  • Silver Plan HSA1
  • Silver Plan 2
  • Bronze Plan 1
  • Bronze Plan HSA1

Plans that will NOT have BlueCard in 2023:

  • Gold Plan Standardized
  • Silver Plan AH1
  • Silver Plan 6
  • Silver Plan Standardized
  • Bronze Plan 3
  • Bronze Plan Standardized
  • Health Advantage Gold Plan 2
  • Health Advantage Gold Plan Standardized
  • Health Advantage Silver Plan AH1
  • Health Advantage Silver Plan Standardized

Again, plans that currently feature the BlueCard benefit will have it again in 2023. Current plans without the BlueCard benefit, in addition to the five new Standardized plans, will not feature BlueCard in 2023.
